Medical Assistant School Student Grievance Policy

Student grievances should initially be directed to the class instructor. The instructor will take action to either address the concern or escalate to the administrator of the institution if needed. If the matter is not resolved by approaching the instructor, a student grievance should then be directed to the school’s administrator in writing within seven calendar days of the incident. This can be accomplished by sending an email to the attention of “administrator of the institution” to: [email protected]. A response to grievances will be issued by the administrator of the institution in writing no more than seven business days after receipt of the written grievance. Open communication between the student and the school is encouraged in order to resolve the student’s concerns. If the institution cannot resolve the issue with the student, the student may contact the Florida Commission for Independent Education, 325 W. Gaines Street, Suite 1414, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0400, or by calling the Florida Commission for Independent Education at 850-245-3200.
